St George's University Hospital is the largest healthcare provider in southwest London. At present, St George's Hospital serves a population of 1.3 million across southwest London. It is one of the country's principal teaching hospitals - is shared with St George's, University of London, which trains medical students and carries out advanced medical research. St George's Hospital also provides emergency cover for ENT services at Kingston Hospital, Croydon University Hospital and St Helier Hospital.

Mr. Modayil along with his paediatric Ear, Nose and Throat colleagues at St George's Hospital provides paediatric airway support to the very busy paediatric and neonatal intensive care units. In addition to the common ear, nose and throat problems (glue ear, sleep apnoea due to large tonsils and adenoids, hearing loss, neck lumps, airway foreign bodies etc) we treat complex airway problems including subglottic stenosis, laryngeal and tracheal diseases.
